raa this album actually changed my life its weird. the hyperspecific raw emotions conan sings about in songs like family line or summer child made me--along with several thousand fans-- feel seen on another level. his songwriting just feels so so relatable even if the topic isn't a commonly shared experience. in footnote for example, when he sings "I told you I liked you, you said, "Sober up" But why would I lie? It's so clear I'm in love With you", i felt that. Have i ever been told to sober up? no. Have i ever been in love with someone? no. but the feeling he creates with his words makes me feel his emotions. he's so truly talented. this album may be my most streamed album ever

fav lyric: "I was a kid but I wasn't clueless (Someone who loves you wouldn't do this)" -Family line

fav track: Family line

this album is sad. it's not even blue sad it's dark muddy grey sad. it's curl up at the foot of your bed with just your headphones and your sorrows sad. i will say that this album is not the most developed in terms of production or vocal attractiveness; the music is more stripped and the vocals are more raw, which is maybe why i feel so drawn to it. listening to this album feels like riding a bus past midnight, looking out the window listening to voice memos of your past best friend.

fav lyric: " I spiralled alone in the kitchen, Making pretend that the furniture listened" -I should hate you

fav track: full machine

i'm so julia. this album created a culture. a trashy, party girl, bump a line in the washroom w me alternate universe. it cultivated a community where people went to escape. with it's 2000s rave-like production and powerful lyrics, it's a unique take on the modern (and honestly quite boring) dance pop genre. it's the most acclaimed album of 2025 (and considering half the globe released music this year is quite a feat), was used in kamala harris' marketing campaign, and pretty much painted the globe neon green.

fav lyric: "city sewer sluts the vibe" -360

fav track: girl so confusing (feat. lorde)

emails i can't send

i'm honestly not the biggest fan of using personal relationships with other celebrities as clout. it just makes all parties feel bad and the stan wars go crazy, but this album is the exception haha. sabrina singing about death threats and slut shamming showed the public how the actions of fans actually have an impact, that celebrities are --get this-- human too. it brought a new perspective to mainstream music that many people fail to see, and kinda showed the world that it's never that deep in the end. this album also has a song for every mood: wanna key your ex's car? vicious. wanna cry yourself to sleep? emails i can't send. in love and tongue goes bleah bleah bleah? nonsense

fav lyric: "you used a fork once, turns out forks are fucking everywhere" -how many things

fav track: skinny dipping (acoustic version)
