malleability

this piece was heavily inspired by my grade 11 chem class (shout out ms. russell) and the concept of malleability. due to it's chemical structure, metals don't break or shatter when struck by an external force; the atoms simply rearrange themselves into a different configuration when displaced. i wanted to illustrate this concept in trauma, and how trauma doesn't necessarily break you after one or two hits. everything just readjusts to this new configuration until it becomes the new normal. until you're so broken you don't know your broken. until you're malleable, like metal.
